The gentle climate and proximity to the coast help to make Fattoria San Lorenzo an ideal location for all sorts of recreational, educational, informational activities and relaxing pastimes. To start, we would like to propose a series of Archaeological Itineraries and guided tours of the most important Etruscan archaeological sites: Populonia, Vetulonia, Roselle.

The beautiful Nature Itineraries will take you to some of the most picturesque locations within the Maremma in the Uccellina Park. Here you will be able to discover a multitude of animals and a variety of species of Mediterranean Maquis (or Scrub), as well as a breathtaking Abbey perfectly and completely restored immersed within the stunning green foliage of the surrounding unspoiled nature. Otherwise, you can embark on an exciting horse-back journey along the beaches and pine forests of the Maremma coast, or even an adventurous excursion in canoe along the Ombrone river to observe the scenery from an unedited perspective.
Surrounding our structure, at just a few kilometers away, rest numerous Tuscan cities, rich with works of art, waiting to be explored. With our Cities of Art tours we propose Siena, with its magical Palio , Florence and its splendid museums and historical sites, like the Ponte Vecchio bridge and the Signoria Palazzo, and Rome, the Eternal City, bursting with museums and the infinite wealth guarded within the Vatican Museums.

For those who love the outdoors we propose our “Wind & Sea” itineraries, boating trips to explore the Tuscan archipelago and the diving centre, and scuba diving lessons, sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing. We also offer, for wine enthusiasts, the “STRADE DEL VINO DISCOVERY TOUR”, making stops in important spots like Montalcino, Montecucco, Montepulciano and Scansano. For those looking just to relax and have a good time, we have our “JUST FOR FUN” tour which includes activities like a game of golf, with the possibility of teeing off at the Maremmello Golf Club, the Toscana Golf Club, the Argentario Golf Club, the Punta Ala Golf Club or the Saturnia Golf Club, or a guided bike tour of the Uccellina Park and Maremma hills.
For those who just want to relax and love activities dedicated to wellbeing, we suggest the one-of-a-kind Terme di Saturnia thermal baths, the Tombolo Wellbeing Centre and the historic “Il Calidario” thermal baths of Venturina.

Without even having to leave the Fattoria San Lorenzo oasis you can also take part in many activities within our facilities: we offer cooking classes and even personalized dinners prepared by a professional chef in your own apartment, themed watercolour painting lessons and even language courses for foreigners.  There will also be plenty of opportunities, in the right seasons, to participate in the harvesting of fruit and vegetables directly from the fields surrounding the farm to get a taste of freshness that you hadn’t known before.
