The Fattoria San Lorenzo, with its 450- hectare property, is located at a key point in the Maremma territory and is bordered to the south by the mouth of the River Ombrone and the Monti dell’Uccellina Natural Park. A few kilometers away are Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala, and the town of Grosseto is only five kilometers away.

Each year, the fields of the San Lorenzo farm experiment with new types of seeds for the protection and preservation of local agricultural heritage. These fields are in an advanced stage of the creation of a biomass, which will produce electrical energy through the anaerobic fermentation of agricultural products grown in the fields. This is another example of the work done on the farm toward the maintenance of natural cycles that are essential in preserving the bio-system. In addition to fields of high agricultural vocation, there are the areas devoted to the growing of fruit and vegetables and olive groves from which is produced an extra virgin olive oil that we bottle and distribute.

Fattoria San Lorenzo is one of the oldest agricultural structures in the area and is now an articulated architectural complex that not only preserves the beauty of its simplicity, but is enriched with the most modern comforts.
